As we begin the new year, I can’t wait to share some of our exciting plans for 2023 with you.

Since 2016 it has been our mission to showcase the finest Indian Handloom sarees, salwars and other ethnic apparel to a worldwide audience through our online portal Avishya.com.

It has been an eventful 7 years and thanks to the beauty and variety of Indian heritage handlooms and the thoughtful curation of our sourcing teams, we have built a loyal online customer base for Avishya across the world in countries like USA, UK, UAE, Singapore and Australia and more. Of course we also built a large and discerning customer base in India.


This year we plan to accelerate our growth in India by conducting a series of Avishya exhibitions in key metros and mini metros. We kicked this off end of 2022 with our first event in Madurai. Being our first retail event we had butterflies in our stomach but it turned out to be a huge success. Customer response and business was way beyond our expectations.

Now Avishya, your one-stop destination for authentic ethnic wear, is back with yet another exhibition in Chennai – on February 2 nd and 3 rd at The Folly Hall, Amethyst.
